A Backyard Fueled by Bioenergy
With this campaign, I aimed to keep it simple and sustainable, using yard waste as fuel to create a warm, intimate scene. My mom joined me around the fire, and even my dog got in on the fun, making it a night that was both personal and purpose-driven.
What is Bioenergy?
Bioenergy is renewable energy made from organic materials like forest residues, agricultural waste, and yes—even yard clippings. It’s an efficient, sustainable resource that’s especially impactful because it can be sourced from local, natural materials. This partnership with US Bioenergy and their collaborators, including U.S. forests, highlights how bioenergy can be scaled from small backyard fires to larger applications that support entire communities. This use of organic material as fuel can even help reduce reliance on fossil fuels.
Partnering with US Bioenergy & U.S. Forests
The partnership between US Bioenergy and U.S. Forests plays a critical role in this effort, as they work together to utilize forest residues that would otherwise go to waste. By turning these residues into energy, this collaboration not only promotes renewable practices but also supports forest health by reducing excess debris and fire risk. It was inspiring to take part in a campaign with such a meaningful focus, and I’m thrilled to share it with my audience.
