A few weeks ago I began teaching myself to knit. Through YouTube videos and a little trial and error, my roommate and I were knitting away while we watched New Girl. I got my tips from across YouTube, and ChemKnits in particular has some awesome tutorials that are easy to follow.
My first few projects were filled with errors, but I set out to make something (relatively) error free. I love a good scarf, really have too many, so that was my goal.
I did a basic stitch long panel and then sewed the ends together. You can see the sewed seem on the front of my scarf, it came together pretty well, and as I would normally wear it in the back it’s virtually undetectable.
Cheers to my first successful knitting project!
