It’s that time of the year in the Bay Area when the temperatures are all over the board, from 70s down to the 60s, a week can see what would be a few seasons in other parts of the country. For fashionistas in the Bay Area that means it is time for layers.
Check out a series of looks based on my current fall style. I generally stay within three color schemes, nude, army green, and gray. These color staples make up more than half of my wardrobe and are super easy to work with. From sweaters to t shirts; items in these colors are versatile and timeless.
Fashion in the Bay Area is casual. From jeans and t shirts at work to leggings all weekend, the Bay Area tends to be more causal than other large cities. I fully appreciate this, but also emphasize a put together look. My philosophy is stylish casual. I often pair a fun t shirt wit dressier shoes, or sneakers with a with a sweater.
Life in the Bay Area is expensive. With high rents and important brunches to attend, I keep my fashion choices affordable. The items selected are from a variety of affordable brands including ASOS, H&M, Macy’s to name a couple.
With all of these factors in mind, I pulled these looks together. Many of these items are staples in my wardrobe. Nike Roshe sneakers on the weekend, a graphic tee (grab the Sade tee for just $16) and heels to go out on a Friday, and a sweater with ASOS jeans for work.
