We recently picked up a few new plants for our apartment! After about a year in an apartment without any outdoor space, we realize how much we miss the outdoors so we’ve been gradually bringing the outdoors inside. Here they are, the latest plants!
Great Beginner Plants
If you’re new to plants, the top one is in the Calathea family, the bottom is in the Stramanthea family, and both are great plants for beginners! They both love water, we water them almost every day to keep them happy. If we miss a couple days, they will be noticeably droopy, but don’t fear, just water them and they’ll perk right up also. 
Add Color
We chose these two because they add some vibrant colors to the room! Most of our furnishings are white, brown, or black so it’s great to add a little bit of color to the room.
These plants are especially amazing because they’re both super vibrant and have great purples and pinks in addition to beautiful greens. We already had a bunch of plants, but new we wanted to add some fun colors to the mix. I think they compliment the room perfectly!
