As I sat in my current makeshift workspace, which is actually a tv table in front of my sofa, I drifted into a daydream. My workspace transformed into an airy, spacious home office. My ideal workspace takes design cues from my fashion aesthetic, plenty of neutrals and a pop of color here and there.
ideating an office
Following that daydream, created a a visual of those elements I would love to have in an office. From the corner desk to the amazing storage unit, these items are super functional in addition to being beautiful pieces. The corner desk is great for the gal with a lot going on. I picture one side being used for computer work, and the other side is a great space for crafting and other creative projects I am working on.
The natural wood finishes with pops of gold and pink work well together to create a put together yet casual look. Check out my polyvore for details of the items above.
My goal is to move into a space with a dedicated office space sooner than later, and this grid represents a design and organization goal for when that time comes.
What else is important for a home office?
