Hi friends and fam!
Since moving into my cozy apartment, I’ve enjoyed making it a home. Spending all my time at home has been a challenge, but also a blessing, allowing me to focus on getting my space together and making it a true reflection of me. Well, thanks to quarantine, I’ve had the time to rearrange (a few times) and find the perfect design (for now). And after receiving a few requests for it, I’m excited to share an apartment tour!
NOTE! Hi friend, I’ve since moved into another adorable, tiny apartment. Check out my current space here.
Honestly, I’m so proud of this little safe haven I’ve created. I’ve been intentional about the pieces I buy, find, and DIY so that my space is exactly as I want it. From the big pieces to the little accessories, everything is meaningful. This is my first apartment alone, so why not make it completely me?
What’s my design style?
I’ve never been able to pinpoint my design style into a single word or category. Since this is a blog, I’ll try to use words! I call my style – airy, natural, vintage. Warm eclectic. mid-century, boho, minimalist. Plants.
Again, who needs labels.
But above all, my style is on a budget! Honey, I’m trying to work through these student loans like many of you, so most of my furniture comes from affordable big box stores including Target and Ikea. I believe it’s all about how you style and combine items that work for you that shows off your style.
My apartment is right around 550 square feet in a large, historic building (built around 1915, I think). I love decorating and redecorating this space, so this tour is a fun snapshot of what my apartment looked like on April 15, 2020.
Let’s get into the tour ♡
