When you’re new to plant care, it’s important to track your watering and create a routine to ensure you’re properly caring for your green family! You don’t want to under-water, and you definitely don’t want to over-water, either!
Posting a hard copy of my watering schedule printed out on my fridge has always been a great way to keep my schedule available and visible. And on watering days I keep track of the plants I water each week.
I’m making this resource, and a few of my favorite other plant care and craft resources available on Etsy, in my shop, Studio Sand and Sage.

Scheduling Tips
- As I water plants, I’ll use a pen to mark off the days or dates I’m watering.
- Want to save paper? Use a laminating sleeve + dry eraser pens and you can reuse your monthly calendar each month!
- Use the notes section to jot down observations like wilting leaves or soil moisture readings.

This was such a helpful and beautiful resource. And I couldn’t believe I didn’t think of the laminating sleeve tip! Thanks so much for this!
